About the conference

The 22nd Australian Brassica Conference (ABC), formally known as Australian Research Assembly on Brassicas (ARAB), is to be held in Horsham in July 2025 at the Grains Innovation Park.

ABC is held every two years and is the peak Australian conference for canola R&D, focused on advancement of canola production and utilisation. Since the 1980s ABC has been helping canola professionals reach new markets and create enduring relationships with local networks of canola experts. It is a forum for ideas, innovation and networking and is highly respected among participants from industry, academia, government, as well as sponsors and exhibitors.

ABC2025 will bring together scientists and representatives from the canola/oilseeds sector to showcase new developments in genetics, breeding, cultivation, plant protection, oil and meal product quality, compositional analysis, utilisation of end products in the food, feed and energy sectors and Brassica species potential in the sustainability arena. The conference will be a combination of presentations, discussions, social events and a field tour occurring over three days from 21 to 23 July 2025.

The Conference provides unique access to Australia’s best canola scientists, researchers, and industry experts, creating outstanding business engagement opportunities for Sponsors.
